During the early evening of Monday April 23rd Brenda was involved in a terrible cycling accident back in the car-free roads of Fort Ord BLM. She fell while descending Barloy Canyon Road at about 30mph. She sustained many skin abrasions, a broken jaw, traumatic brain injury, and countless other injuries. Brenda has beat all odds and is now well on her road to recovery. She is home after 3 long months at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and is now undergoing intensive rehabilitation. She is facing a long course of dental and reconstructive surgery as well as physical and speech therapy.
